Dilek holds a BSc degree in Computer Education and Instructional Technologies and an MSc degree in Information Technologies in Design. Her diverse educational background and natural inclination towards research and lifelong learning have enabled her to pursue roles in a range of sectors, including teaching, distance learning design, web development, content curation, project management in IT, archives, and cultural communication.
Having gained experience in a number of areas within one of Türkiye’s most prominent cultural institutions, including the management of web-based projects, e-books, social media and more for several years, she decided to take a break to explore her true passion: wine and grapes. She attended workshops run by Göknur GündoÄŸan and subsequently completed certificate programs in WSET, WSG, and ISG. Dilek currently teaches “Introduction to Wine Culture” and “Vitiviniculture in Ancient Ages” courses at a university.
Additionally, she edits and translates content and provides proofreading services. She is passionate about reading, discussing, and writing about wines.
